We were given the opportunity by our client GRAHAM to shoot two exciting architectural projects in the south east, the first one was a very striking looking new building at the Thames Valley Science Park and the second a rejuvenated building in central London that had previously been unused for 10 years. The new building features a steel and glass exterior which changes appearance as the steel ages and oxidises, while the older building looks traditional on the outside, but on the inside features incredibly modern world class laboratories and is now a pioneering facility in medical research. Both projects involved some interesting challenges, especially trying to get clear shots of a building on a very busy street in London. Neutral density filters and long exposures allow us to shoot busy places but make them look deserted, which can be very handy in places like this. Both were fantastic architectural photography jobs to be involved with and the results look great. All photography and editing was handled by us, delivered on time and budget.
